NATUROPATHY

How to tell if Naturopathy is right for me?
A Naturopath is a practitioner of Naturopathy, a form of alternative medicine based on the idea that the body has an innate capacity to heal itself.  Naturopaths improve health by treating the person holistically, tapping a person’s own internal body, mind, and spirit resources. Naturopathy comprises a blend of different therapies, all attempting to restore the body to health in the most natural, noninvasive way possible by stimulating the body’s own healing powers.

Your body was designed to heal itself. I believe that it is my job to identify your source of stress or the obstacles to your health, help you to remove them, and provide your body with what it needs to heal.     Dr. Z. Faith Darby, Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor

We are also Certified Natural Health Professionals

Certified Health Professionals  follow a course of study that introduces them to the core competencies of natural health practices.  A CNHP studies the basics of the various body systems (digestion, nervous, respiratory, circulatory, endocrine, immune, integumentary, musculoskeletal, reproductive and urinary), along with nutrition, flower essences, pH balance, enzymes and the Biblical perspective of natural health. Additionally, we are taught hot topics such as sleep issues, adrenal fatigue, sugar problems, natural cleaning/household products, energy and exhaustion, and many more.

Graduates of this intensive study have established practices all over the world, and many work with other health practitioners to bring this additional dimension to their clients.
